Howdy, thanks for taking the time to read this post. Well, my day started at 4 AM so I could put the final touches on my house and make my 6:25 AM flight. First to Houston than after a 3 hour layover on to NYC. Side note: these new progressive lenses I got a few weeks are great. Not sure why I waited so long to admit I needed them. Ok, back to the trip. π€ͺ
Crossing my fingers everything thing keeps going smoothly. Check out the sunrise at 10,000 ft from the plane.

Also aren’t these lights the coolest? The attendant can change the colors with a tap of a fancy touch screen.

Once I arrived in Houston I couldn’t resist abit of Pokemon Go and look what I found as my first catch.

So I walked around Houston Hobby for a bit.

There are lines at all the restaurants. Guess that is expected since it’s before 8 AM and everyone getting off the other planes must be wanting breakfast too. Let’s see how long I can last on the plane’s snack.

Going to let my phone charge then go looking for food again (It’s 8:15 AM). A few flights have taken off and the airport has thinned until the next round of planes.
Well, my plane has been delayed 30 minutes. Glad I decided to grab a strawberry Danish and a “cuppa” tea. About an hour now until the next leg. I get to time travel and loose and hour until I return and find it again. Time zones, why??
Hmm, just as we all get seated on the plane, the captain comes over the intercom and tells us they can’t get a warning light to stop flickering. So, this plane will not be flying today. They are going to get us another plane, but we all have to get off and back on again. From Gate 47 to Gate 23, good news this plane has wifi. π€ͺ I’ve got to think the ground crew is annoyed having to unpack and repack a new plane. Original departure time — 11:10 AM — Actual departure time — 1:05 PM. It was annoying switching planes, but the Southwest team did a good job getting us all moved. Glad I waited on purchasing any tickets for Thursday evening activities in NYC.

5:22 PM via the time travel… I’m in NYC.

After all that walking I dropped into Juniors Dinner for a classic Ruben. Then back to the hotel to rest for tomorrow — The Statue of Liberty.
